Even though Andy's mother insists that Woody is not for sale, a greedy toy collector steals Woody when she's not looking. While Andy is away, Woody is accidentally placed outside at a garage sale. Woody excitedly prepares for his annual trip to cowboy camp with Andy, but when Woody's arm is accidentally torn, he has to stay home.
